| I was always a George person myself, but I have always loved "Give Peace a Chance" and "Imagine." Something about the simplicity of both just drives their message home. Anyway, what are your thoughts on John? -Tyler

John was a rocker first and foremost. A great songwriter, vocalist, band leader, and a much better musician than what people give him credit for. He was a natural comedian also. Unfortuantely he was, albeit self acknowledged, a major hypocrite. "Imagine no possesions"; ballderdash! My favorite Lennon solo album, by far, is "Plastic Ono Band". I consider it his punk album. Honestly I believe should he have lived he would've divorced Yoko and got back to making some good rock 'n roll, maybe even with that old band of his. Lump

I would say that they carved a path that really set us up for modern studio recording.....
