Plugging an midi controller into another midi keyboard....
Well first off I'm new here, haha, so some of the stuff I say might not make total sense but I will try my best.
But to my question...I have a pedal board project that I'm working on, in which I plan to build a pedal keyboard, and use some small inexpensive MIDI controller with about 25 keys. I know that for the most part these small controllers don't have their own voices built in, but rely on either computer or another device to produce the sounds. So I'm wondering if I can plug the controller into another midi keyboard that does have built in voices, set it up on a seperate channel so I can still play the keyboard regularly but also use it to produce the voices on the pedal.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm a little new to some of this stuff, and I wanted to know if its possible to do this.
I don't know what kind of controller I will be using yet, but my keyboard that I plan to use is a yamaha PSR-E413.
