hi can anyone tell me if my korg ms-20 is broken. I'm trying to use the external signal processor but it appears the CV converter may be faulty as I can only trigger one note (the last one to have been pressed on the keyboard). this is what I've done. (1) connected guitar to the ESP's SIGNAL IN jack. (2) Adjusted Signal Level - all fine (3) Turned up Threshold Level control to trigger the TRIG OUT light (4) Connected F (inf.) V CV OUT to VCO 1+2 CV IN (or VCO 2 CV IN) (5) Connected TRIG OUT (ESP) to the TRIGGER IN jack, and the ENV OUT jack to the VCA's INITIAL GAIN jack. A note can be triggered from the synth now but not changed by me playing a different note - it only triggers the last note I played ON THE KEYBOARD. (6) When adjusting the Bandpass Filtering section this makes no difference to the pitch picked up (6) Adjusting the CV ADJUST also makes no difference am i doing something wrong?? or does it sounds like it's broke!? I'd be so grateful for any help Thanks Matt |
