Solid mix, man! Kick is a bit over-clicky for my tastes but the snare is awesome, you showed it off pretty will in the cool little break before the final chorus. Well balanced overall, vocal clarity throughout. A little light on the bass guitar, maybe.

Awesome bridge/solo - Third mix I've listened to today that really nails that part, yet all of them are different. Underdub/drop out at the end of it was surprising in an enjoyable way - only suggestion I have is that it's a little abrupt (on second listen) - you could maybe stick a short slapback delay on the snare or something and automate it on/off for that last hit so just the echo of that hit sustain's thru the "void" and brings you into the big finish.

Really like the big rock-ballad drum sound you've gone with. Diggin' the tonal choices on the guitars too.

Had to listen thru twice just to come up with that subjective comment about the underdub, so probably safe to say "top shelf work man" and move on haha. I guess you could add that this is a fairly "safe" mix arrangement wise, but there's nothing wrong with that IMO - you've definitely done a few subtle underdub's and things to add some excitement and dynamics for the listener.

Hell yeah! the man is back in act!!!! Im glad ya found time to get back into the ball game. You could fart into the microphone and its gonna sound good. The mix is very solid. Im not even critiquing this one, im just glad your back!

Straight forward mix that works great! The surprise drop out was a nice touch Only comment I have is that the tom feels a little too loud in the verses. Apart from that I think the mix is very well balanced. Love the snare!

Hey Guys, I decided to pull my clip again. Thanks for checking in and the support These mix competitions are not for me, I take it way too personal and when I am not winning or doing well at something I get frustrated and want to bail or kick someones ass...haha. I need to work on that.

I promise not to soil future contests with my entry's. Listening to all these mixes in the contests is a lot of fun though.

I was initially worried about that too Rockerdude, in that I may take things too personally. But seeing that you have over 2,300 posts here, I would assume that you know that the majority (pretty much everyone that I've had contact with) treats each other's work with a great deal of respect.
Still, the best thing is that there is plenty of time to change your mind. I didn't get a chance to hear your mix, so maybe next time. Cheers.

I' actually have mixes that I feel don't represent me at all and may give people the impression that I really don't know what I'm talking about.

But than when the ratio get's tallyed up...and there's so much that worked out well compared to the little that went bad, It helps me get my 2 hours of sleep per day
It's a good thing that you take things personal. That means that you put alot of heart into what your doing. Now try to get the end result to be equal to or greater than your passion, that way the end result....in our case recording will turn out stronger than the anger/disappointment.

And yeah. If your not comfortable with a mix I completely agree with the idea of not releasing it.
