Very solid mix as usual, maybe not my favorite from you in this competition but still an excellent mix !
Probably because of the synth at the beginning. Vocals are top notch as usual.
Great work.

with how good the mixes are turning out this month... finding anything wrong with these songs is rather hard.
i just keep it simple. does the bass sound good, are the drums hiding or biting, Ste the vocals good?? did that weird end bridge guitar mess up the mix??
i would just rate things and keep my mouth shut...but i find it funny that people are getting angry about my involvement on the thread.
I'm starting too understand what's going on though.

Beautiful job, holster! Not much to pick on here, except that, IMO, the guitars right after the bridge start sounding just a little "buzzy". Nice intro! Great BIG bottom end, as usual, although the bass might have stood just a little more bite in the mids. Touchy that, though, with the guitars like they are, so it's not a big deal. Just personal taste. Nothing much more that I can say, other than a typically nice job!
And for the record, I love the clarity and openness in your mixes!![]()

Alright time to tear this mix apart
First off, and most notably are the transients from the drums.
At 1:53 though because of the fast attack and rapid dissipation the snare sounds more like a ghost hit than an actually 'whack of the old stick'
at 2:59 I love how I can hear the snares back brace.
I'm not sure if you wanted to get the intro synth to sound like fairy dustBut It's interesting in the good way.
From 17k to 27k your have a gapping whole in your mix.
50hertz is 9db louder than 5khz (or 3 times)
Than again, that's what fab filter says. I just hear the vocals as dull.... and the rest of the mix as solid.
I also noticed that the Ahhhs aahhs are bottom heavy.
Around 2:32 there's a very hard to hear click artifact that I'm not sure where from... But I was listening to the airy ahs and I herd it.
They also fade out to ... swift, they seem to just cut out after every 'aahh ahh ahh' progression instead of getting the star treatment of a volume fade.
And there's a tight tom instead of a snare at the beginning :/
The bass sounds like a black sabbath bass (early days) the guitars ?? Green day or queens of the stone-hendge?? and the vocals nirvanish.
The fourth time I listen to the mix (probably 250th officially) I can still stand itThe kick drum is starting to make me dizzy, but at :58 it drops in volume for a bit.
Lead vocals are really neat. I'd like to listen to them soloed. And the delay is so delicate. But at :33 it messes up the words "to see"
at :28-29 'you' word ends wrong. And the are other little errors like that, hmmm noise-gate threshold to low ?
1:36 on the word "were" the compressor takes a real heavy bite out.
And at 2:18-2:23 there's distortion present on the vocals though very light and grainy.
It's hard to nit-pick your mix. But at the end of the day the tones you used for the drums just don't agree with me, they seem like a mangled drum set (you got an 80s hard rock snare that doesn't always pop, a kick from a grudge band and a salsa-ish 'overehead set)
The guitars are great. But at the 2:42 bridge, the mix doesn't hold.
And one last detail that I noticed 2:56 you have 2 ride bells or something.
Now If I keep listening to this mix another 3 hours I'll a couple hundred more issues with it (amongst um repetitive
Closing words,
Tight mix, and really nice.
I doubt you get any complaints from bands that come to you.
