There's a Rat in my Studio What am I Gonna Do?

I've been away for a few days visiting my parents. Upon my return this morning I discovered that a rat had somehow gotten into my studio, The little fucker completely detroyed pretty much all my cables. I have a pair of Sennheiser headphone which Ive had for like a hundred years; he chowed the shit outta them!
He ate holes in my laptop bag and started to get to work on my guitar too. Half the stuff in my studio doesn't work anymore as all of the power supply cables are no longer... well,, cables.
Aaargh, when I find that little fucker I am going to take immense pleasure in making him suffer before I let him die!

NOw, what have you learnt from this experience.
Id say
1: never trust rats in the studio
and
2:dont go and visit your parents.

Wow that really sucks, all i have to say is don't make him suffer if your gonna kill it just kill it, it's not like it realized what it was destroying, rats have to chew things all the time because their teeth never stop growing, they don't understand what they're doing. Now I'm only defending the rat cuz I have two pet rats, but if a rat destroyed my gear I would probably kill it, but I wouldn't make it suffer.

Relax dude. Ive not yet found him so it seems he got away. His life is safe this day..

... Rats! Seriously, set traps right away. If he dies before you can toss out his mangled body in a trap, he will rot in your walls or wherever he is. The stench will be horrible and lingering. It'll make you wish all you had to deal with was wrecked phones and chewed cables.

This is no joke and no time to time to "wait-and-see". You've got to get this sucka.

Naa, he didn't get away, just hiding. Living out in the desert, I have a constant battle with those basterds..set traps, poison, and a low load shotgun after the SOB....kill him, chop him up into pieces then piss on the SOB !!!...Good luck !

3x mic cables
1x laptop case
1x preamp power supply
1x yamaha interface power supply
1x sennheiser headphone (very sad about this one; it was my favorite)
1x usb cable
1x guitar bag
1x ESP guitar (not so bad; just a few teeth marks)

Although the damage is not too serious it still put me in a fairly bad mood for a while. I've found where he came in but haven't managed to track him down yet.

I have four cats; tonite they're sleeping in the studio.
