Interesting. There are two reasons Google would show such an ad.

1) They bid the highest for that click.
2) They believe it's relevant to you.

Google tracks your behavior and knows what you like. I was looking for a trailer hitch a year or two ago and saw nothing but trailer ads for a good 6 months.

Maybe you guys have been doing some mail order shopping in the Asian wife sector and that's why you are seeing these ads. Oh wait, I'm seeing them, too.

I've been a little excited lately when I have to watch ads on Youtube every once in a while I see an ad for Native Instruments Mashine. There's something inspiring about an ad for a product I'm actually half way interested in.
