I also want to add that any atheist who claims that being an 'ass' goes with being an atheist is a fucking poser. Being a ham-whore is not being an atheist, and being an atheist is not being a ham-whore...they're completely mutually exclusive.

I've met and befriended many "atheists" that are extremely intelligent, polite-minded, respectable people. We do tend to get ourselves caught up in various discussions deliberating on arguments upon which we often agree to disagree. They would agree, however, that any intelligent minded person can fathom the notion of: "God(s) or no god(s), right and wrong is right and wrong."

sorry...to the point: this is an unorthodox place to voice your anger and disdain for someone. Is this Conklin guy even a member here?...will he even be able to see your ranting rage? I believe you did mention that he is local (in relation to yourself), so...hmm...I know what I would do (I'd do like csiscs said)...and regardless of whether he willingly shows himself or not wouldn't matter...I'd find him...and "discuss" things to the point where each of you know where you stand...if that's not enough (you know, when both of you are at the point where you're exchanging "fuck-yous")...Whip out a glove and belt him across the face with it!...'cause it's "go" time then!

As for my (and csiscs') advice, you can take it or leave it. But, my opinion of this bloke is that he's a posing ham-whore, i.e. controversial for the sake of it/attention needing cowardly chode. If what you say is true about him and I were you, I'd take it upon myself to make an example of him.
