Presidential Debate With Substance

It's shocking just how different this debate is when compared to that WWE rubbish between the Republicans and Democrats.

While all three candidates are quite different in just about every arena, it's AMAZING to me that the direction of both Democrats and Republicans has been so disgusting that all three of these candidates are in nearly 100% agreement on the topic of economics and the size of government.

I'm not sure what that is. I've never came across that term except for maybe in a Thin Lizzy song.

I guess you could say "Cronyism "

"Cronyism is partiality to long-standing friends, especially by appointing them to positions of authority, regardless of their qualifications."

I'm not sure how that applies.

It dosen't, The old boy network I think originaly came from Public Schools(What you call Private Schools in the US). When you left school and went for a job and if the guy interviewing you came from your school(he being the old boy) then you were pretty much a shoe in for the job.

Its takes it name from Public(Private) schools but occours everywhere. I've known managers who were in the military to hire ex military, Masons to hire Masons etc..

These guys just have the same policies.

Saying that alot of politicians come from wealthy backgrounds, their parents had money to have them privatly educated. Having got a better education they went to the top universities like Harvard and they know each other from there. This is also part of the "old boy network". Still I don't know if that explains their policies.

It's always interesting to me how the WWE (yes, wrestling) defines politics. When a guy rises up with beliefs that are more in line with the people, they (not sure who that is exactly yet) come up with methods to question his character.

Bush can reduce the standard of living in this country with a questionable war based on premptive strategy and little actual evidence of wrongdoing, but when real guys speak out someone accuses of them of racism, Cronyism, or X creative slander. The slander seems to be little more than an excuse to get away from the real issue at hand.

I'm not really interested in the high school "he said, she said" crap. I was hoping to have a meaningful discussion.
