Hmm. I've got an idea. I'm seriously considering buying StalinAwards.com. I could then give any asshole who insists on socialists practices (all of them) the Joseph Stalin award. It would be a little trophy that looks like an Oscar, but with Joseph Stalin screaming while holding up a hammer and sickle. Hmm. Should I do this? I could put the website together quickly. Speaking of that, I'm considering another political website. I can't figure out what to call it. The idea is get-the-fuck-out.com, but I'll have to tone it down. Maybe I'll call it balance-the-budget-asshole.com. It goes like this. You go to the site and sign up. By signing up and entering your email and zip code, you are making a PROMISE that if the current politician in office does not balance the budget, he/she will NOT get your vote in the next election. This will apply to EVERY person in your district. It applies to ALL politicians that you can vote for (both state and federal). I'm not sure if it would do any good, but I'd bet I could get at least one million people to sign up for this one. I like the idea of putting the pressure on real issues. I like the idea that George Bush could have visited the site and saw that he had lost 1,000,000 votes in 2004 because he chose to max out his government credit cards. I'm not sure it would do any good, but it seems like it would be more effective than holding up signs in the street. (That's too hippyish for my tastes). I like the idea of knowing that my local representative and senator can go online and see just how many votes he/she won't be getting because they COMPLETEY failed! Should I do this? Any thoughts?

www.balance-the-budget.com might be better at least it is shorter...
But I think it is a good idea! |

Wow! This is going to pass the time for you, that's for sure.
I like the idea of starting to get people out of this two-party mindset (even though we all know that it's ONE party). There are numerous web sites that encourage political discoarse, but they are all percieved to be affiliated with one of the parties. Ex. The Heritage Foundation is Republican. So getting subscribers to think independently is key. Once people start to realize that it's all a big dog and pony show, maybe they will start to express their minds in the voting booth. That is still the one thing these asstards have to do. They have to win elections. Unfortunately the parties prop up a douche and a turd sandwich and expect voters to make a choice. As we all know most folks simply say "no thank-you" and stay home. The winner takes their victory as some sort of mandate regardless if 12 people participate or 12,000,000,000. The only people who get passionate about politics anymore are either folks like us who have taken the blinders off and can see with clarity the path (socialism) this country is headed. That crosses party lines! Or people who have the most to gain from a particular candidate's agenda. Ex. old people, minorities, abortion freaks et al. The vast majority of eligable voters are never going to gain from a candidate's agenda. There is a reason these polititians pander to the special interests and that is because they never have to express any solutions to real problems that have real consequences. They keep these hot-button non-issues on the front burner to boil down the voter base to the lowest common denominator, thus forcing people to not participate. The website would have to be subsciber driven or else it won't work. It would also have to heavily monitored because we all know how freaked out these dipshits get when you start talking about eliminating the IRS or Social Security. Sounds like a lot of work, but it sounds like a helluva lotta fun too. Maybe you could make it www.balance-the-budget.com presents the Stalin Awards. You could even break it down into catagories like the Grammies and have a podcast from the backroom of the local Elks Lodge. These polititians hate losing elections, but they hate not being taken seriously even more. I'm in! Lump

Having the information like this in a database could be EXTREMELY powerful. It could be expanded to almost be an IMDB of sociaist behavior if we wanted to go that far with it down the road. Quote:
I'd have to put some thought into that as well. I wonder what categories we'd want. Brandon It would be nice, down the road, to have a section where people can take out their home video cameras and film the various tributes to Joseph Stalin (like the courthouse). Basically, it would be a cool place where a laymen who doesn't really give a shit could come to the site and in 10 minutes get a hardcore dose of present socialist practices in the United States. If the information is presented properly, it's not difficult to get people thinking.

The website would have to be simple, informative, and most of all entertaining. Politicians should be pointed at and collectively mocked. I've always taken the "Blazing Saddles" approach to issues. Keep it real. I like the idea of a political website that would never allow it's subscribers to get caught up in non-issues, unless they are going to directly affect the taxpayer. Like the douchebag Missouri Rep who wants to change all official state documents, including school textbooks, to read "AD and BC" instead of "CE and BCE" at an astronomical cost to the taxpayers.
