Default National Treasure 2

Well, we had a coupon for a free ticket to National Treasure. So my girlfriend and I went yesterday. They should have called "Commando 2".

This movie had a story that made absolutely no sense, had characters that were supposed to be the top historians in the world who had forgotten about any and all history that wasn't included in a bullshit high school text book, and displayed some of the worst acting I have ever seen from Nicholas Cage, John Voight, and Ed Harris.

The story: Nick Cage's great, great grandpa may have been the mastermind behind the Lincoln assassination (not a great thing for Honest Abe, but certainly a good thing for the constitution). In order to prove his "innocence" (or greatness depending on your level of brainwashing) Nick Cage sets out to find treasure. You be asking yourself how finding a shit load of gold makes a person innocent of an assassination. I am too.

You would be better off renting Snakes on A Plane or shooting yourself in the foot than watching this movie.

Worse than Snakes on a Plane? Wow. How is the first National Treasure, assuming you have seen it?

It's Bruckheimer, but it's a little less stupid than most of his productions. I thought the first National Treasure was a fun movie. I definitely wouldn't buy it and I probably won't watch it again unless I'll be rewarded in some kind of dirty way. I went to the theater with the female (I've been calling my girlfriend "the female" lately), turned off my brain, and relaxied. I'm a history dude, so I got something out of their mixing history with a Treasure Hunt. But the movie can't feel like my Uncle Mal wrote it (he's mentally retarded) which is EXACTLY the vibe I got from the second movie.

In all reality, it was just as bad as Snakes On A Plane, but in a not so obvious way. National Treasure 2 wasn't as "corny". just bad.
