Default Looking to monitor my bro’s activity on PC

Hi everyone, i have been using Mac for a while, but now have installed xp on that. My younger brother is using it now……but since he has his exams coming up….I want to have a software installed on that will restrict him from going on unwanted sites and can monitor the moves on the pc. In total I need a spy for the pc that will help me monitoring him. Does XP have a tool of such kind…..or if you know any other ones that are good. Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

There are tons of PC monitoring software packages out there, many of them free, but I don't know if you really want to go down that road.

Maybe this topic should be taken more seriously....BUT....I DO NOT want to know what my brother is looking at online!

To quote Champ from Anchorman: "And THAT is a scientific fact!".

For one thing, you can turn on the content advisor if he is dumb enough to actually use internet explorer.

Then install a keylogger.

Even if you could see what he is doing it isn't going to help anything. What you really need are 2 hard drives and 2 removable hard drive trays or bays. When he gets on the PC he uses his hard drive. When you get on you use yours and shut down the PC when you are done and pull your hard drive out and lock it up somewhere. This is what I had to resort to when I had to deal with my son and his friends... The other thing I have done was buy a cheap laptop for him and his friends to use. He isn't living with me any more so now my Woman uses the laptop. I hate laptops... so limitting!

There a slew of programs for the pc that install invisibly and record your every move.

I by no means recommend that you should go get a copy of pc pandora, install it on your gf's pc and read her im conversations with her online male "friends". Furthermore, you should definitely not use this software to capture her myspace page login info, and read her messages to more of her online "friends".

And you should absolutely not use this program to find out her email passwords and read her personal email, as that would be completely wrong and deceitful.

I can however, recommend a great hardware store where you can buy new locks for your house, after you "suddenly" decide it's time for her to move out.
