I fuking hate organized religion. all of it from the seeks to the baptists. The peeps too. I fuking hate em. They elect the world's leaders and every fuking leader in the world just happens to be a religious zellot on a mission to control everyone and suck the bloodlife out of every human they can. Right now. As in today. But I fuking hate the system they've supported even more. No more liberty, no more economy and no more democracy.

Is there actually anywhere in the book of mormon that says "have sex with underage girls" and "have lots of wives." .. I'd like to read that part, sounds pretty sweet.

It seems to be a real issue with that religion; this isn't the first crazy story I've heard.

After you think about it, If you are even a bit spiritual, you will feel as if religion and government make you sick to your stomach!!!! But every time I look in the mirror, I have to realize I am human. we are a decadent creature for sure! People suck! But as for this life, I guess I will have to just try to do the right thing and try not to let my brothers and sisters bother me. Shit Happens!

I think this is the entire point. I think the idea is to create a system that gets screwed up as little as possible by the worst of humans. Democracy (in the early stages) is the best system not because it is efficient or the people really benefit, but because no Jews have ended up in a furnace in a democracy (at least that I'm aware of).

Communism is a really nice idea but the human element kills it and makes it a horrible system.

It's unfortunate that the real ideas that founded this country have little significance anymore. I haven't decided if a few sick, power hungry assholes ruined it for everyone or if the idiot masses ruined it for everyone. Luckily, it's not ruined yet. It's just a system that is just pending collapse. I figure it'll happen in between the next the 1-100 years.
