The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer
If you've got a strong stomach, this is one of the most intense stories ever. The author is kind of a dumbass and tries to hype up things that don't need to hype up (trying to make Richard Kulinkski, The Iceman, look like he has super powerers). However, the story is so absurd and over the top that it must be real!
It's one of those "makes you appreciate life" books that makes you sick to be alive at the same time. I'd highly recommend it to anyone interested in the Mafia, insane levels of violence, the pysche of murders, etc.
There are a couple HBO documentaries about Richard Kulinski, but they are NOTHING compare to the books. I'd say the documentaries are icing on the cake and little more. They barely scratch the surface of anything important.
