Default How does the friendship feature of this site work?

I was trying to figure this out and I have the feeling I just emailed a bunch of people where I "requested friendship" Hmmmmmm What did I do? Hope I didn't bother people trying to figure this out.

No bother. I got your request. I accepted, but the world is still turning.

garageband will become famous soon enough

I contemplated what that button might do before. My guess was that you get a notification email when you friend makes a post. Seems like a good idea that might get annoying.

Hmmm I'll let you guys know what it does on my end. If garageband is right don't be surprised if you get an unfriendship notice It won't mean I hate you.

csiscs has a little shameless behaviour in the past

Personally I wouldn't bother with it, believe it or not I have loads of 'friends' on other forums and Garagedood is right (how'd that happen ) it's a pain in the ass.

If you have email notification on, your inbox is flooded, you end up marking them as spam, turn off notification and 'friends' start getting sandy cos you haven't replied to all their really witty visitor messages.

This is the interwebs dude, it works just the same without pretend friends.

Speaking of internet stuff, does anyone (else) here use the repping system?
Somebody must be, cos it looks like csiscs must have been de-repped by someone. Surely noone with almost 200 posts would have 0 rep power...

The admins have access to the rep power feature. Audio~Geek tried to send a message that if you can't play well with others, you should go elsewhere. I leave you to judge how well that's working.

I don't want any friends. I'm just not into the circle jerk. Green and Yellow Buddies as Zappa used to refer to : )
