Re: Drury, didja hear.....
That's the way I feel about Cheap Trick. I always make a point to see them at least once a year when they're in the neighborhood. The first time I seen CT was in '88 and I think their show is actually better now. These older bands that still tour regularly seem to really appreciate their fans. I know that one of these days they are going to hang it up, but until then....

Re: Drury, didja hear.....
Yeah dude, I know what you mean about the older bands.
It seams the bands that were mega huge once, severely declined, and are back touring are much more excited to be playing than guys in their popularity peak.
I noticed this phenomenon with Skid Row a few years ago. You could just tell that the show was a bigger deal to them than the average band playing at "mega huge arena here".

Huey Lewis is the only reason I am seriously considering going to Memphis in May. There are a lot of good bands, but Huey is going to bring the house down...no doubt.

I just found out about Bryan Adams being there, too. I have to figure out a way to go.

Hmm. I never heard that. Of course, I didn't know about Lane Staley either or I would have at least celebrated that there would't be another Alice In Chains record.
