Also, I would like to see a good movie in which the bad guy wins.

You are gonna have to give up on that idea. There are a few (but if i told you what they are, it would sort of give it away, wouldn't it). I've noticed that almost all my favorite movies end with the good guy dieing in the end.

The Rocky series also rated PG

You had a good argument until you threw that in there. Until you have participated in a Rock-a-thon where you want 5 Rocky movies in 5 consecutive nights, you have no idea how shitty these movies are. Sure, they are fun in moderation, but you may have to go the hospital after 5 nights straight. Maybe I should have been more responsible with my movie watching.
It's not so much that a movie needs nudity (although it's a strong plug no matter it's a guy's ass or a chick's rack). I think there are so many movies made now that cut out anything remotely real in the interest of letting kids to see the films in the theaters. I can understand wanting to make money, but it just sucks that the movie suffers when they do.
There are a number of great movies that are PG ish range. (Actually Indiana Jones movies are PG-13. They were going to be rated R, but Spielberg approached the MPAA about creating a PG 13 division and therefor Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first PG13 movie.) Star Wars is , of course, PGish, and one my favorite movies, Second Hand Lions, is also PGish. That doesn't make them bad.
However, when you take an epic battle scene and take all the violence out of it, you are cheating the audience out of the story. We can sterilize the film and take out the blood; claiming that it's for the unintelligent, but I beg to differ. The notion that a viking could storm your village and put a stake right through your wife's chest is something that people of this time faced every day. When you take that out of the movie, you are (in some ways) disgracing the whole situation. This is a strong example.
For me, Rated R stands for Rated R in most cases. Of course, I don't watch many new action movies. I'm typically talking about dramas.
