Communism, Rocky IV, and Top Gun

As many of you know, I've always considered Communism to be a more interesting way of for our military to spend it's money/lives than Terrorism. I watched a cool low-budget documentary on how the current Iraq war was essentially Monday Night Football, but I forget the name of the damn thing.


Anyway, I should finish Stepen Ambrose's "Rise To Globalism" tonight which essentially covers America's foreign policy from 1939 to the 90s sometime. (I'm not sure, I haven't finished the book yet).

I just wanted to say that there is nothing like finishing a chapter on Ronald Reagan's foreign policy, sitting down with a cup of coffee @ 1am, listening to the Rocky 4 soundtrack, and thinking about Top Gun.

Ironically, all of these were pretty much brain dead, but still highly entertaining.

I think communism was a lot more fun, too, and a lot more useful, since we could also shut down anyone we wanted to by saying they were a communist. Unfortunately, calling other politicians terrorists hasn't caught on...yet.

Yeah, that's because our current terrorist MUST be muslim and Arab. Most of the politicians are white, so they can't be terrorists.

TAlderson, did you ever read Rise to Globalism by Stephen Ambrose? I think it would be right up your alley.
