I'm blown away. This guy's article is 99.99% dead on. I'm a Angry White Male.

Note: In order to avoid the usual bullshit, it needs to be said that people of other races can freely join the Angry White Male club as long as I'm able to apply for the Negro College Fund.

As I've read more and more about history and increase my understanding of how things have really gone down, I've found myself yelling "I'm so FUCKING mad, I'm so FUCKING mad, I'm so FUCKING MAD!!!!!" usually about 3 times per day. It's not that I need medication. I just get pissed when I see the scales continually tipped against me by idiots.

I feels weird to belong to a group.

I was REALLY hoping to really get made fun of (not hard to do) but not only criteria on the main page applied to me, unfortunately. I'd expect these kinds of white people are more of the "daddy pays for expensive college" type. I'm one of the "started with nothing and have most of it left" type.

I do appreciate the effort, however. I just really wanted a hard look in the mirror and this blog is more like a look out the window....sort of. These are the consumerist assholes who are obsessed with Mac, don't eat meat, don't understand the constitution, suv buying, fung schway assholes. It mentions that white people love Obama. It may as well say "White People Love Socialism" then as I think only the liberal communists would agree with that.

Hell, the simple fact that that it says later on that "White people love sushi" illustrates that VERY VERY few people in Missouri fit this mold. I tried sushi for the first time when I was 26. There is one place to get sushi within a 50 mile radius and that place doesn't do nearly as well as the plethora of pizza and Mexican restaurants.

You've got a point. While a silly blog doesn't bother me a bit, (I once made a blog that included nothing but pictures of Hitler with dogs), you are right. It's certainly not acceptable to say "What feminists like" and then post a series of close ups of vaginas. (Although I would laugh!) The fact that this blog is acceptable illustrates a mindset that continues into much deeper and more socially, politically, and economically serious issues.

the title of the site "stuff white people like" is not entirely accurate. it should say "stuff phony liberal white people like". that would be an appropriate title for the content contained therein.

I thought the AWM article was great, and 99% accurate. The only thing I take issue with is the statement "but he considers himself a white American." He probably doesnt even consider himself a white American. Just American. I am conscious and aware that my skin color is white, but I dont wear it as a badge of honor, or a matter of shame. I'm not proud to be white, nor am I ashamed. It just is. Its not something I earned or achieved. I know an asian guy and a black guy who are both AWMs, other than their skin color.

The hetero, white, christian (or non-religious) male is the only non-protected class left in america, and also happens to be the single largest voting block (not counting the hetero, white, christian female-but they are a protected class by virtue of being female). you would think someone out there would be pandering to us. we mostly get ignored or pushed to the side, even though we have the largest impact on the economy, tax revenue, job creation, national defense and military service, science and technology, etc, etc.

society has been so busy tripping over itself to undo the actual and perceived wrongdoings of the past that it has overcorrected and created a new group of people who are "disenfranchised", the AWM. The only problem is, we dont have any race and poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or Hillary Clinton out there "looking out for us". Im kind of glad we dont. Things will come back into balance on their own, especially when the public sees stories like the Obama pastor scandal.

Maybe it's easy for the majority not to give a damn about their race. I personally think it's a sign of intelligence....or at least it illustrates a lack of intelligence of those who obsess about racial features. (Maybe Hitler and the Negro College Fund aren't too far off!).

I never understand that "proud of my heritage" crap. I don't even know what that means. Besides, I've been told by some that Drury is French. That's a little embarassing, so I'll just stick with the part that I can control and maybe 2 or 3 people won't think Brandon Drury is an asshole.

Ironically, they are all socialists. The people enjoying the fruits of being "protected" have taken the bribe, closed their eyes, and have perpetuated a path down a dead end road. Things were REALLY good for the protected classes in Germany in 1933-1939. That didn't turn out so well FOR ANYBODY! Things were really good for the protected classes (very few) in the USSR up until 1991. That didn't turn out well for anybody either.

here's a fun one to try. get a notebook, and sit down and watch an hour of TV. during every commercial break, take note of each commercial which has more than one ethnicity. 99 out of 100 times, the white guy in the commercial is...

• a slobbering moron getting schooled by the browner people - message - the white guy is an idiot
• a jagoff who listens to michael bolton - message - white guys aren't cool
• a mean boss-type who is lowering the boom on the drowntrodden workers - message - fight the power
• a cartoonishly upwardly mobile young-republican type who is looked at askance by the other more female and browner members of the commercial - message - the white guy is a snake you can't trust

why not 100 out of 100? because i actually saw a commercial last week where two white guys punked a latino pizza delivery guy. i was stunned. i mean, the cultural/racial insensitivity was just appalling

they must purposefully be teaching this in the advertising schools.

my wife thinks i'm yelling at the screen too much. but i'm not making this up. try it yourself.
