Whats up bro hanksta here. Current live rig is 2 half stacks. Hiwatt OL103 lead 100 thru 4x12 Fanes and Randall RH200 thru RS125CX. My master vol on both heads right at 10 oclock not loud but thick. I dig the interaction of both tubes and solid state at the same time. Solid state gives me the cut while tubes **** me all over. Having 2 heads covers me in case 1 goes down. Effects loop on the Randall I have a Boss DD3 and Boss Noise Supp. Hiwatt straight up. Small clubs I use a pedal board thru both clean channels. Guitars , I was just laid off from G & L here in Fullerton where I worked in the wood shop. I have a few Invaders with Dime-buckers and Invader pick-ups in the bridge and ****er stuff in the neck. We play hard rock some say its metal but not me. Sometimes I use a Marshall 2203 but lately its this rig. We're a 4 piece and I play the rhythum. Gotta love it. As soon as I find out who stole my camera I'll wing you some pix. Over and out boss. hanksta

I wouldn't call my set-up a rig but I have:-

A Ibanez RG2820 Special Edition in vintage violin. A beautiful guitar.
A Line 6 Spider II 212. Does it all, well most styles.

I'm pretty happy with this set-up I can get great tones and I can use it for most things like pop to metal to blues.

Here's the signal chain for me for the last few shows I've played.

My heavily modded B-bender Telecaster (only electric I own) -->Boss Tuner---->Fender Blues Jr--->SM57.

I have two other pedals on my pedal board (keeley modded TS-808, fender blender fuzz clone)....but I haven't touched either one in quite a while.

Here's what it looks like...

Nothing for live play, I'm just an "at home hobbiest"
I use a Yamaha EG-112C with the fretboard colorcoded to help me orient myself. I also have a Talman TCY-10 Accoustic Electric for unplugged fooling around.
I run the yamaha through a Digitech RP-300R which has been able to produce any tone i want with enough fiddling, i usually just use the presets on it.
At the business end is a Roland Cube 30 Amp with some built in effects but i hardly use them since i have the Digitech. It's loud enough to really jam on at home and clear enough to tone down when the wife is around.
I only recently started screwing around with recording and i have a copy of Reaper to experiment with. For Drums my Wife's synthesizer has an adaquite drum machine built into it.
The Digitech's headphone jack has recently been the recipient of a double male cable connected to the mic jack of my computer's soundcard thus my 'home studio' was born. working so far but i would love to hear recommendations to improve my stuff on a budget. thanks to everyone who contributes!

Egnater M4 - insanely versatile modular tube preamp into a....
Eventide Eclipse into a...
VHT 2-50-2 into a...
marshall 4x12 wired stereo

If i'm feeling really ambitious, i'll add a second clean amp and blend the two tones together. It's amazing what adding a clean and dynamic tone to a second clean and dynamic, or raging overdriven tone can do to fatten things up and add articulation.

the M4 and Eclipse are controlled with a Rocktron All Access... all bought from Ebay used.

I have a simple rig that is the biggest beast on the planet live, but when i record... Its just terrible... Mic positions and my terrible room and the fact that i cant crank my amp to 11 may be factors there.

93 PRS Custom 24 (Versatile as hell)
Korg DTR2000
Mesa Boogie Dual Recto (3 ch)
TCE G-Major in the loop
Mesa Road King 4x12 (Two V30s and two "Black Shadows")
Sm57 and Audix I5 mic

Being a 15 year old I can say that I strive to have the gear that you all have. I feel like I've learned more in 2 days of reading here than I have from any book.
