Guitars -
Twentysomething of them, including 8 Epiphone Les Pauls.
3 of them are sparkle tops, 4 flame tops and a triple gold pickup Black Beauty Custom.
I love them all. All are stock, except for one that I put DiMarzio Super Distortions in.

A Samick/Greg Bennett Signature Tele with a quilt top and Duncan Designed buckers.
A Samick/Greg Bennett Signature Explorer with a quilt top and Duncan Designed buckers
Both are really great. I have been super impressed with the GB pieces from Samick.

An Acrylic BC Rich Mockingbird that feels like it weighs 30lbs

An Epi Flying V that I customized with mirror pickguards as an ode to Kiss.

A black Ibanez Iceman - Another Kiss axe

A Charvette in Flo orange that I've had since the big hair 80's. Traded an actual Gibson SG in perferct condition on it, plus paid money. They saw me coming. It has a floyd and has been a really really good guitar over the years.

A Johnson quilt top that looks like a Jackson dinky, complete with sharkfins and a gold floyd. Beautiful but just ok.

A Tex Mex Strat Standard with a maple board. A Bridgeport Strat with a rosewood board that sounds surprisingly good. I keep it in Eb for when I feel an SRV attack coming on.

A Squier Tele that I put a pearloid pickguard and Texas Specials in. Sounds twangy and that was all I needed.

Dean Brownburst ML. Rarely use but couldn't get a decent price on Ebay.

A Rogue bass. Does what I need it to.

A Seagull 12 string with a Cedar Top that is to die for, tone wise.

An Ovation Celeb Deluxe for live work. Occasionally use in the studio.

An Ovation Matrix Balladeer from the 70's with an aluminum neck. Paid $30 for it and use it in the studio a lot. Best guitar deal I ever made.

AMP: Line 6 AX2 212 with floorboard. No pedals needed, but I do have a Morley Wah- Volume pedal too.

Except for the Fenders, where I use Super Bullets, all strings are D'Addario. Period.

I use an SM58, through an Alesis 2 channel gate/compressor, and a Lexicon Alex for reverb. I also sometime use a Nano verb as well. I use this set up into my PA for acoustic work, parties, deck bar gigs.

Ready for a long one? I'm kind of a gear head so I've played through ALOT of stuff. Here's my current inventory:

Bogner Uberschall (dark heavy tone, clean channel hard to use, 1 trick pony, Line6 Uber sounds almost identical)
Framus Cobra (awesome pissed off marshall/mesa tone)
Krank Rev1 (sold it, never could get sound I liked)
OLD Mesa Dual Rect (modded to Rectostein using KT88s, awesome)
Fender EVH 5150III (could be the ultimate amp)
Mesa Triaxis w/Stradegy 400 amp (still a great combo)

Marshall BV1960 cab (standard, sounds great with just about anything)
Krank Revolution cab (sounds great with Uberschall)

ESP LTD guitars with EMG active pickups

My bro (Welcome to HBE guitar effects pedals. Distortions, Tremelos, Gain Boosters, Octo-Fuzz, We have 'em all!) is making a Marshall clone that absolutely kills.

Default Re: What is your guitar rig?

I went through a period of buying too many guitars. I have 8 Les Pauls, which is just stupid for someone that just plays at home. Mostly they sound the same although some play better than others. The only two that have a distinct personality are the one I put Dimarzio Super Distortions into and the triple pickup Black Beauty. The 59 replica has the fatter neck which makes it play different. I have Teles and Strats, Mockingbirds, V's, Explorers, Iceman, Charvel, blah blah. A couple of guitars that have a really different tone that I would love to have include any hollowbody Gretsch ($$$$), a Rickenbacker or something like a Talman with Lipstick pickups. I'd really love to have a 335 or a jazz box too. I have a love for guitars that borders psychosis. When my ship comes in I still want a Peavey Wolfgang Standard, a really nice PRS with bird Inlays and a $2000-3000 Taylor acoustic. I have played a couple of Taylors that have literally given me the shakes. I have always been skeptical about guitars that are over $1000 and can you really hear the difference. With the Taylor you can.

Excuse me? WHERE ARE THE AMP SHOOTOUTS ON THESE HEADS? You have like 16 K worth of amp heads and cabinets and I've never heard you post a single recording with them! Get on it!

Ok, here goes...

Guitars:
Gibson Explorer - I really like the fat sound I get out of this one, but all the parts on it really sucks in my opinion so it's never correctly intonated and can't quite hold it's tuning... Although it's tuned down to B.
ESP LTD VB-400 (baritone) - It's really sweet if you can stand the EMGs

Effects:
BOSS GT-6
Pedal board with various pedals (Crybaby etc)
Behringer V-Amp 2 (for home use)

Amp and cab:
Peavey 6505 thru a Peavey Valveking cab. Used to own a 5150 but sold it when moving... It actually survived a 1.5m fall during a live show once. A guy jumped up on stage and started head banging right next to me and as I struck the final cord the guy stumbled backwards into the rig and everything just fell off the stage! I went off the stage and noticed the amp had landed on it's feet, power still running. The speaker cord was a bit twisted but that's all, I plugged it in and it was still alive. Amazing!
We noticed later though that the speaker cab had landed on a softcase containing a guitar which was now in two pieces...

One trick pony here, '91 Ibanez 540s, that loves to get played through my Ampeg vt-22.
Sadly it needs to be serviced and I can't manage to find the strength to get the 92 pounds of it to the shop.
So sometimes I'll mic up the Marshall micro stack, but usually I'll go through the Behringer V-amp pro, which I love.
