It's a 1x12 18 watt marshall clone I just picked up. The channel with treble, mid and bass needs some tweaking (it's really bassy)...but the Normal channel (with volume and tone) absolutely SCREAMS. It's got the thick, rich, every note hanging on upper harmonics vibe going on. It's a really fun amp! -Matt

So is this a clone of the OLD Marshalls from like 1962? Brandon |

Yes, it's a clone of the 1974x...With some changes. The channel that has tremelo on the originals has been converted to have "treble, mid, and bass" along with a master volume. It's a lot of fun!

No, this is wired on a turret board...no printed circuts. I'm a big fan of the point to point/post to post/turret board construction. Here's a shot of the inside of the chassis. I'd wager the wiring on this one is cleaner than an original...certainly cleaner than the inside of any vintage marshall or fender I've ever seen. ![]() -Matt

That is MEGA clean wiring!! I need to get some free time and get into building my own amps. I know I would be good at it. The electonics is mega simple in these old amps. Some year! Brandon |
