Default String help for Ibanez acou/elec

I've had this v70ce for just over a year have have not played it much. I've had to file the fret cuts and the neck needed adjustment. I adjusted it tonight (not bad action, but I have some uneven frets) and thought about stringing the d'addario Phosphor bronze 12-53 I picked-up with it. I've been wanting a better guitar, but I thought I might try to make something of the Ibanez - first.

I don't think the phosphor bronze are going to do much for this. With the stock strings, I think it sounds better direct than with mic. It's pretty bad as a acoustic sound box.

Are there any magic strings for these heavily braced acoustic/electrics ??

This is my first steel string, having preferred nylon. I have 3-4 models picked out I'd love to indulge my self in if the Ibanez is truly a lost cause.

I'm going to regulate the Ibanez to de-tuned bass and slide.
I picked-up a bargain Cedar Ridge that looks to have a nice neck;

I'm thinking of trying these strings;
Ernie Ball 2047 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Silk and Steel Extra Soft Acoustic Guitar Strings
Ernie Ball 2150 Extra Slinky Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings
Martin M130 Folk Guitar Silk and Steel Compound Wound Acoustic
Thomastik AC111 Plectrum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings

Any suggestions for what makes a intimate recording set of strings ??
