Have you looked on the Line 6 tone exchange ? I just searched for a sitar tone for the x3 and a few tones came up. I've got a Pod xt Live and a Variax. It's a great combination for home recording. I'm thinking about getting the x3. FYI the Variax is a guitar modeling guitar you can select from Strats, Les Paul, Telecaster and others you might want to check it out. I've found it great for recording. Quiet as can be too.
