Ahh...well sorry about that. 'Twas not my intent. The only warning I can give you, however, is that the word "w-a-r-m" is strongly despised by the Supreme Overlord Commander...that's it though. Of course, by now, you've probably already deduced that.

Later Chingas!

The pod is capable..and as far and modelers go.. I think line6 is in the forefront....
the thing is, not unlike mic'd tones, the tones have to be shaped some.
not to toot my horn (especially if you hate the guitar tones lol) but heres a tune with all PODXT...I think its a decent example of the potential

I haven't had much time to mess with it yet, but so far I'm a little disappointed in the sounds I've been able to get out of it. My question is this: Does it live up to the POD hype? Has anyone been able to get some awesome sounds out of it? Any opinions or experiences good or bad?
I own one. Mine works fine, and the tones are realistic. Now, you said you are disappointed with the sounds you are getting. Are these the factory presets or or did you create your own patches? The factory presets are generic in nature and are supposed to be tweaked. This is why Line 6 has Gear Box and POD Farm. These two programs allow patches more easily than simply twisting knobs.

One more thing, creating quality guitar sounds requires experimentation and a bit of research. Creating patches for cover songs requires more research if you want to mimic the tone unique to that song.
