Hi,

I guess you wanna know if the guitar is a good one. Well I've never played this particular Ibanez but I own other two other models and before I went down the Gibson Les Paul route I was very happy with them. But I suggest you go play one and see if you like it.

My first guitar was actually this one just in blue. I liked it my only complaint is that i had to replace the stock springs with the springs from a fender strat cause when i put new strings on the bridge would float to much and to easily. What style are you going for and have u been playing long?

This isn't a flaw in the guitar, I want to point out. You obviously put bigger strings on the guitar than it was orginally setup for, that's all.

Hang on. So, you are saying that you put a brand new set of strings on your guitar that were the same exact gauge as the previous set and it caused dramatically more tension on your guitar than the previous set?

That sounds fishy to me unless one of the springs simply broke.

Did you change your tuning?

Brandon

Yep. I actually brought to 3 guitar shops by my house and they all recommended changing the springs. and no i didnt change the tuning as a matter a fact i tried to get it setup and the guy who was setting it up had trouble and asked to change the springs in it.

So what string size did the Ibanez come with originally. What size did you put on?
