Default Help With Electrical Noise and Guitar

I know this question has been asked countless times, but I can't seem to find a good answer. I turned the third floor of my house into a coplete recording studio and I was really pumped to get going on things then I realized that I can't record any electric guitar because there is too much noise to get a clean recording. I've tried 5 guitars, same story. Is there anything I can do to cut this down? Like a lot? Would buyin one of those fancy $100 power conditioners do it? I'd appreciate any help.

Get one of these, I swear by them.

decimatorprorackG.htm

Make sure you get the "G" version and cost about $300 - $350, musicianfriend.com has them.
