Hi All,

I had bought a Brian Moore guitar several years back when I discovered they had a USB option. I had sent the guitar back to the factory to have the USB installed and have had it sitting here collecting dust. I have never even tried setting it up or seeing how it works. Is any one actually doing any playing with it?

I dont use the MIDI guitar for practicing or noodling, because its not that fun due to the poor tracking. I only use it for composing and recording.

this guitar is not my bag ---the prob with this for me is there is a loss in the the way your guitar reacts to the amp you are on and amp sims are not yet as good as the real thing---acoustic

I dont consider MIDI guitars suitable for any guitar-like sounds or applications. If you want a guitar sound use a real guitar and amplifier. guitar synths are good for doing everything else that you cant do with a standard guitar, such as recording MIDI directly from your guitar into your sequencer, playing synth parts for non-keyboard players, composing, transcribing, etc. They arent really that fun to sit down and play like you would a regular acoustic or electric, because you dont get the feedback and string action, and the tracking is unnatural. but guitar synths arent meant to replace the guitar.....
