Mic placement isn't mentioned? When you place a mic toward the twelfth fret it can sometimes make the finger noise worsen. Using a good condenser mic at the sound hole will be better in some cases. You will notice the bass gets a little excessive so you may need to cut the bass in the recording to get the eq you are looking for. I have also used finger ease. It ruins strings though. So it would be a last resort.
