Considering buying the Hummingbird Artist - Need advice

Does anybody here own the Gibson Hummingbird Artist? I played one at the Nashville Guitar Center and totally loved it. I actually liked it better than the standard more expensive Hummingbird.

Now, I've read some mixed reviews on it, and realize that everybody has a different taste. What I am wondering is, what is a better guitar for the money for my alternative/indie style of play? I do fingerpicking and strumming, and the J-45 and Hummingbird Artist are both great for that.

I hate the term, "better," because I've been around long enough to know that no one guitar is ideal for everything. That's why I'm asking you for your opinion on what YOU think would be an upgrade to the Hummingbird Arist in that price range. By the time I've gotten this far down my own post, I've decided that I'm probably going to buy the J-45. Can't beat it!

I've always like the hummingbird....If you need a stellar acoustic without breaking the bank I would buy this one........
