Default Anyone playing on Wechter Guitars?

Just curious, if anyone's using a Wechter Guitar. The luthier who makes em, Abe Wechter has his shop about 15 miles from my place, and I'm looking at purchasing a new guitar. Just wanted to get some feedback on likes/dislikes.

Thanks!

You must live near Paw Paw?

I've stopped at his shop and was given a tour by Abe. If your looking into the imports designed by him, then your going to receive a well produced guitar that has been Plek. If your intrested in his US built models, get ready for a treat. Abe's domestic guitars are second to none. The quality and design are both the best I've encountered in 39 years of playing guitar. I can not afford one due to my focus on other expenses. I will say that I would own one, or two if my passion wasn't recording.

Good luck,

Chico:

Yup, I'm from Kalamzoo. I've played around with a classical in the local music center and really enjoyed it, but didn't get a chance to see how it sounded plugged in. Had a great live tone though.

I'll keep hoping that I win the lottery.

Give Abe a call...Make sure he's in town. Stop by the shop and I'm almost certain he will personally give you a tour. Abe was a designer for Gibson USA. Great guy...superb instruments!
