New Video: Recording Strategies Using RealTraps

I wanted to let y'all know that we have a new video called Recording Strategies Using RealTraps posted, both on our website and on YouTube.

This video demonstrates how to get great-sounding tracks in a large, unfamiliar room, using RealTraps products, simple gear, and good engineering technique. For the video, we recorded Robb Kavjian of 1476, singing and playing 12 string guitar.

The video includes a detailed explanation of the setup of each of the 6 mics used to capture the performance, as well as the room tuning steps we used to control the sound, giving us plenty of options during mixdown.

The tracks were then mixed by Jon Wyman.

Thanks! Ethan did the videography on this video, since he has the editing software and the camera equipment. He made me send him a detailed shot list so he knew which edits to do though. ;-)

Hello JWL.RealTraps, I have seen the video that you have shared regarding recording strategies using RealTraps. This video is simply awesome and you have made it very easy to understand. Great tutorial I must say.
