Default Whiney acoustic thing

I had no control over the arrangement, so don't flame me! Also the band INSISTED on tracking guitars in the breakdown to a click and then laying down the drum tracks second. I also think they tried to jam too much guitar stuff into the end and it sounds a little cluttered (there's a noise track that I completely left out). Would really appreciate your guys' suggestions and feedback

Hmm, as far as the performance, the vocals could use a little tightening. Everything sounds great, but the reverb on the vocals seems misfit. I don't know if you should add more or take away reverb, but experiment; it sounds like the vocalist is alone in a room, when you are trying (i think) to give the impression that there is a band backing him up. On that note, the rhythm guitar and drums can go up a little bit. Other than that, its a great song and mix

By tightening do you mean pitch or timing? Good call on the reverb I should definetly back down on it, blend it better with everything else. In my car the breakdown sounds especially shitty. I think I was too concerned about how it was in relation to the first half of the song and how I could make it fuckin loud without distorting too much. I thought the bass sat ok, so I'll try to rework it around that and the vocals. I also have to throw in more of a piano track and two electric guitar-bowed-with-a-violin-bow tracks.

sorry, I should have been more specific. I mean pitch. He doesn't seem to be in the center of the pitch in a couple of notes. Its not that bad, but I have been trained vocally, so I can pick out inconsistencies. He has a great sound, might wanna do another vocal take, but its not totally necessary.

Oh, I don't know. The delay (or big predelay you've got here) would sound "interesting" if I liked the song / performance.

The last Finger 11 album (not the new one) had something like this (but probably a little..."better"...whatever that means). I loved it.

This song would need a real band backing it to really work. It sounds like they wrote / arranged it that way.

Oh, here comes the band.

There is some chaos in the low end. Sounds like you had a loud kick drum and smacked it really hard with a limiter. I'd probably make some more room for that kick drum and suck out 80Hz or so out of the bass guitar.

I think you did good, dude. I hate these types of bands, so whatever.
