Thanks for listening Brandon. Since we don't have a drummer for live shows, I was going for a slightly 'unnatural' feel with the drums. For of an almost dance-music feel if you know what I mean? We need to show people that we aren't just using programmed drums 'cos we no longer have a drummer, but because we like the sound they give us. I'm glad you liked the vocals - I remember a few months ago on a mix I posted you weren't too keen on the vocal performance. Your over the top analogy could be "rip me a new arsehole". That one sounds good. Last edited by markiegiscool; 10-24-2008 at 12:39 PM. |

Interesting comments by Brandon and Rockerdude. The arrangement of the instruments is very constant. Todd Rundrens Utopia had some good stuff like that, but its rare this kind of arranging works. I say this because I'm hearing its not just the recording. A friend of mine likes 3 peice funk because theres alot of "room" to play. All in all the producers of this track should consider the musicians be willing to share the sound a littel more. I know this is tough. When some bands record you have five or six guys all wanting to be heard all the time, the loudest. Just a thought.
