Wow it really has that waarrmm analogue feel! I think the vocal could use some eq to make them sound clearer and the bass is taking up a lot of space but I don't know if that's usually how it is in that genre... sounds like something goes out of time just a little once in a while.. also there is like a shaker or hat that really just sounds like distortion; don't know what that instrument is.

Yes, just the odd little timing glitch, but otherwise this works well. Good harmonies--nothing overbearing or pretentious, and the acoustic guitar sounds nice.
As for the song itself, I wonder if the intro is just filling in some space. It seems to be just the melody of the verse played instrumentally, and could easily be ditched with no harm to the song. Think about something different for an intro.

Thanks
Chris

I think you've pulled off the old school Nashville production fairly well. I've never personally been into that sound (chorusy acoustic guitars and big reverbs) but you've gotten fairly well.

I personally liked what Rick Rubin did with Johnny Cash. Toss a mic or two in front of him and record everything bone dry and in your face. To me this gives this kind of music a more intimate feel.

I think, I am thankful! It is encouraging when my simple music is appreciated. It is simple because I have no choice. My skill levels are not what kids can do today!

Thank you so much!
