Awesome. I remember an earlier version of this being posted some time ago. Great work.

Sounds great man!! maybe it's a matter of taste, but I would lower the Snares just a bit and add a very tiny hint of Reverb and then raise the vocals just a bit as well.

Also, I'm listening though my dinky little computer speakers...So I'm sure the mix sounds different because of it....

But let's face it... 100's of other people are going to hear your stuff the same way.

but Seriously nice job overall!! Next song!!!!

The difference is quite telling. Great mix, music, vocal, and attitude.

Hi,

I did not get to listen your previous mix (Unmastered )so i do not have anything to comment on the imrovement, but this sounds great.
I would like to ask though, in the beginning there is a HUM when your drummer is giving the leads to start the song. Am not sure if that was intentional (For any reason that might be) or a mastering glitch.
Do let me know.....
All the best
Thanks
Sid

I'm not sure what hum you're referring to, might be a guitar hum and it wasn't intentional. You can hear the first mix I submitted at the start of this thread. Glad you liked it. We've got 9 songs written for the next CD and are practicing them now. Hopefully we can make this mix sound like garbage at the end of it.

sounds good. BUT. the vocal is a little low in volume, and the bass needs a bit more volume with compression on it to bring it out to CUT with the movement in the song.=rhy gut is loud and clear ,same with drums . vocals low and bass low,

Nice!

the only disadvantage - the way that vocals sounds. is this a dynamic microphone? :/

Night and day improvement, a lot less boxey.
Now much taller and wider.
Nice work.

In general I really dig the Lenny Kravitz-ish vibe of the song. Energy is great.

The mastered version is clearly superior with better definition in guitars being the most noticeable to me. (Sounds like fair bit of low mid rolloff was added)
I do hear big guitars, and little bass just as Bill1 did, so the song doesn't "pump" like it could. I just EQ'd about 5db at 65 Hz with a q=1 and it felt better to me.

During recording, was the bass players sound not up to snuff or was the level mixed low ? Was the bass in the low mids that got cut in mastering ?

That is really awesome! Much better sounding, and a BIG difference in drum sound. On the old one you can easily hear that the vocal is separated from the rest of the sound, but is melted into the final as natural as possible. Almost feels like listening to a bootleg vs the CD. Fabulous job!
