Thanks for the critic... they sound that way because i couldnt get the tracks from the producer who made the instrumental.. if u realize the snare is like same level if not a little louder than the vocals.. and the other instruments are quite low...

The vocals are tooo out in the front.... pull them down by 5db and add a compressor at 4:1 Ratio make up gain of 1.5 db.

tried that already.. but the snare jus over wehlms the vocals.. think i would have the producer send me the files so i could mix the instrumental myself... thanks for the advice though mehn...

what really needs to happen here is the instruments supporting the vocals needs to come up... but as i said imma try get the producer to send me the files..

Great lyrics I really like the guys delivery.
I think that your hands are tied so very tight here in that you need to get the instrumentation so that you can do a complete mix. The entire thing can be split up into different frequencies better as far as the instruments go as right now the kicks are the star of the recording and they were there before U touched the mix. Now as far the vocals being out to far IMO you probably could just mix this baby top to bottom and then focus on getting it all hotter. IMO vocals got a bit to much reflection ( try closer mic techniques when recording & maybe get some kind of tube preamp if U can for ****th and or bring the mids up a bit). Also U might be working on vocals to hard because you are trying to tie them into a track that is already mixed but the instruments would give you more freedom.

the distance from the mic is less than a 1ft..
