I don't know much about mixing but I think the bass has too much treble. And I would turn the kick's volume down. But I guess it's all a matter of taste. I do like the music though. I would love to hear more! |

I kinda agree. The bass isn't filling the mix enough. Its a great tone coming out for the "midrangey" stuff in the bass, but the kick lacks any significant low end (which is good because of the kick rolls -- it would sound really muddy if it were any different). So I recommend trying to fill that with some more bass sustain. Bring the guitars and the snare up to level with the kick and the bass, then, and you should be pretty set.

The guitar hurts. I like the bass. The snare sounds extremely thin. Did you mic the bottom? Otherwise, I'd say that something is out of phase. Of course, the fact that you only used 3 mics reduces this. |
