If you have a thin skin, you are probably in the wrong business! I think the name is great!

I like the bash name -

It can't be any worse than the bashing I get from my wife everytime I crank up in the basement

It's actually quite appropriate. I agree with your title and explanation completely. Maybe you need a different level or a less extreme bashing thread for sensitive teeth..I mean users.

About the forum name, I joined this site just because I thought the name was funny and the concept was great ! So I think you'll have both things : people who don't join because they feel offended by the forum name, but also people who join it mainly because they love the concept and sense of humour !

I think the hardest part of learning how to properly mix/master is actually the "ear training". Of course we can all hear a huge difference between the tracks in the thread "A Testament To Bash This Recording", but figuring out how to go from point A to point B is another story ! :-)

So the bottom line : thanks for this great website !

I never really read that For Sensitive People note that I've seen up there. I like bash this recording.i have like 497 MB of posts I just read the other day in the window where it tells you that. That's my way of saying I really appreciate this forum!! I'm working on my new album, and I've been in a pompous mood sometimes, after getting a new mix from my producer over yousendit, and then someone will come up with a hint and it shows me the caliber of the bash. I don't know- online can reflect the lonliness one feels in life or not. Somtimes I feel desperate to be on a computer instead of "Going Somewhere out in life" but not when I'm doing the forum thing. Besides life isn't like TV 'out there" I remember bars and they weren't THAT fun. i came here to australia thinking the music business was gonna welcome me with open arms, but i have only one gig a month, although now I have a few nursing home gigs.
I guess nobodys spending much money except in the city, and its kinda too far away from here- Melbourne. Still I know things are gonna come through cause I've worked on my music for 30 some years .May not be the rock star thing but it'll be something.....Brandon would you like a copy of my album in about a month and a half or two months when it comes out? If so remenid me to get your address or maybe i will get the pay pal happening on my website...also If you wantto hear some of th esongs go to....

oops thats in my signature. well anyway thats the place...
You know- I do a GREAT Jack Nicholson impression!!

Thanks a lot my friend, it's been real good here.
