Somebody likes In Flames and that's alright with me! OK, great song so far, the synths may need to be darkened up during the vocals or brought down in volume a tad. A bit of low mids removed from the guitars or bass probably wouldn't hurt anything. Vocals sound great. I referenced Leeches by In Flames for some general comparisons.

I believe the energy of the drums could be brought up some. Possibly just turning up the snare or adding some density and sustain to it. Drums are usually not ten feet tall in this genre of music but some more could be done in your tune. I may also add some sizzle to the cymbals...I would have to play with it. The cymbals are not audible during the chorus, this can be fine as long as it doesn't hurt the song. Maybe try turning the overheads up, it can be a tricky area but the guitars are pretty dark and I bet you can get away with it. The guitar width could be brought out more to make additional room for things in the middle too. Overall it sounds like it is coming along great and now we just need to wring every ounce of excitement out of it. I want to hear it with the rest of the vocals too. It is hard to judge things without all the vocals! Good job.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Yeah I'm a big In Flames fan, as well as Trivium. I guess it kinda shows through I'll work on those things and report back when I can! thanks again!

Hey Intenseza, I agree with some of what jp above said; the synth could stand to lose some high end and volume when the vox are singing. Love the voice, don't be afraid to put it out front! The drums as a whole could use some brightening I think, make them sound crisp. Nice job!

A little update so you can get an idea of the songs structure. Mind the parts where it's very empty. I've changed the synth, upped the drums and spaced the guitars out a bit. I also fiddled with the vocals a bit.

I enjoy most about it, great stuff. All I'd say is perhaps, (if possible) to cut a bit (or a bunch) of the reverb out of the guitars. I think a tighter, cleaner, guitar tone will sound awesome for this. Sort of like the reverbless guitar sounds on Lamb of God's Ashes of the Wake album, Laid to Rest particularly comes to mind. When the guitar riff comes to rests, that sudden stop in sound I think will help the song.

I think I'm just touching on my personal taste but hey, my two cents.

    Very well made overall!
