Just a little slower, more like a Chacha than a Songo.
This is for the ones that wanted to hear the real version.

Well, I didn't record this one.
A friend of mine did, but just now in my own studio
I began recording latin percussion and I will let you know how it goes.
Maybe I'll will post some of the tunes here to get your response.
If you like the work, then I can tell you how I did it!
I'll be trying diferent mike techniques...we'll see.

Go dance some salsa...good for the soul!!

Are you playing sax on this? I would be interested to know any tips you may have for miking saxes.

It's very annoying to hear such great playing as it reminds me how much I need to practice!

Yes, I'm playing the alto sax on this tune.
Also the flutes, timbales and maracas.

About miking the sax, let me find some pictures taken during that recording ans i'll post them as soon as I can.

And about my own studio, I will make a little flash video so you can see it.
A movie will be much better than if I write about it don't you think?

My eyes got big when the song started. Its so clear. This is a really good recording. Everything from the hand percussion to the piano and what I'm assuming is a stand up bass.... well I could go on. The main thing I'm getting at is that I can hear EVERYTHING.... That speaks volumes.
