Default Pls Bash our NEW TUNE!!!! Want Input...

Hey guys,
Just a year into our recording... My buddy and I (member Haazy34) wrote a tune for a girl friend of ours for her 40th birthday. BTW - we're only 21. HA!

Let us know what needs to be tweaked, adjusted or just taken out of the mix.

Any and all input will be appreciated.

Thanks dudes!

D and H

don't like the guitar tone, it sounds too "cheap" (if that makes sense)

main rythm guitar might sound better if it was if it was a mic-ed(if it wasn't) acoustic guitar because it sounds like its ran direct which sounds pretty flat. leave the flange out. EQ a little more bass to your tracks to have a much more fuller sound. This thought could be optional depending on your taste in the song, drop down the gain a little on the lead guitar and try different reverb setting and see which best suites it. other than than melody is good and composition is cool.

Thanks for the feedback DTF. I've always ran my acoustics direct - mainly because that's all I've ever done live and just transferred that practice right into recording. But I agree with you and need to give 'micing it up' a try.

My buddy and I have a couple of XML990 we could try or his SM58. That is until we can get something different. We are both wanting an SM57. Either way - I appreciate you mentioning this and we'll have to try it out.
