Default And now for something completely different.. (seriously..)

Ok... uh.... well..

I wrote and recorded this one yesterday.. a few things to know about it..

First off it is in mono.. being I am totally deaf in my right ear I get so tired of the music playing second fiddle to stereo imaging, on this one I said 'to heck with it'.. instead of guessing I know exactly what I put before you.. I tend to think Mono works great for a song like this.. hardly low tech.. I am using it by intent.. *L*

Secondly, if you do have a listen I would like to draw attention to the Bass.. working it out and performing it all the way through was fairly tedious as it isn't just standard 'boom boom'.

Thirdly, I'd like to know what people think about mono for a song like this.. would it really be that much better to you if it was in stereo, or does the musical point get across without it? This I really would like to hear thoughts on..

So without further adieu, in all it's obscure glory..
I present

Dream Girl
SoundClick artist: 333maxwell - The greatest faux band in the world.... well.. sometimes.. .....kinda...

Peace~

neat little song. well written. the vocal and harmonys were excellent. yes it does work in mono and you do get your point across but i have to say that even a little stereo spread on the backing harmonys would fill it out nicely and make it even better to my ears. so yes its good enough in mono but it could be better in stereo. sorry about your hearing loss. my left ear is pretty bad and i wear hearing aids in both ears. they are digital so they are programmed to sound more natural but i still ask friends to check my mixes for balance. anyway again nice job

This really brings back memories of old quirky Beatles melodies
Cool tune.

But you say it is in mono - my ears tell me different. I definitely hear some stereo. Maybe its my imagination but I could swear the piano is at my left

Otherwise I really can't seem to find anything to fault. This track seems complete to me.

I disagree ,,unfortunely ....this song needs Stereo ....Im sorrry .. What Bass part ??? I didnt hear one ??? I , don't know why ...song has potential ....but you need to work the parts Better....dont be in such arush to finish a song ..or you screw it up by rushing completion .this comes to mind...Beethoven was deaf writting the ninth...dont worry about your ears ... use the brain ...have more people listen and get there reaction ... hope I helped ...
