Default New title Ay Bridge.mp3

This ones been bugging me trying to get things balanced. It's an instrumental but it tough to hear all the tone colors w/ two distorted guitars.
Warning- it's loud! Thanks for all the input so far.

What are you using to gate the guitars? It is chopping off a lot. This actually sounds like midi guitars. Guitar pro engine?!

Give me the lowdown and I'll work on it.

Sure, yeah it's Guitar pro 5.2- the best tool I've run across to work out arrangements.
Some of the notes are supposed to be staccato. My ears are fairly used to hearing this, so is it chopping off all over the place or where specifically are you hearing it chopping off?

Anyway, the D11 chord 6sec in (and various repeats) was the harmonic problem- the first guitar was playing a Dsus2 in the 1st position instead of a
D7sus2 so it wasn't jibing with the second guitars' D11 on the 5th fret.

It was bugging me!

All over the place. Guitar Pro doesn't have it's owns style (other than MIDI central, lolz). It doesn't sound like a natural guitar because it ain't, being my point aha.

It seems to me that everything is a little too center in the mix. Perhaps you can spread the two guitars a little farther apart and punch the bass a little more in the center. Will there be a lead vocal (please say yes)? If so, putting it in the center or slightly towards the secondary guitar may fill in the field and meld the guitars together nicely. Nice job, but tell us a story baby! Let us know what you're rockin about.

Oops, forgive me I'm new around here. I see that you already stated that this was an instrumental. My bad!

Yeah! I wanted to sing about something but everything seemed to be covered by the instruments. Just apply it to whatever rocks you.
