Default New song thing

Hi, i am making a music project during my spring break. This song is an instrumental and is supposed to be an intro to my project. The guitar was recorded using a ESP LTD EX400 w/ floyd thru a RandallRG75 combo amp. Bass is midi. Drums are samples, and synth was done by my friend. I need some input on this plz, thx!
-Song is called "Future at Hand" at www.myspace.com/buenoregime

cool song. Its not my type, but it sounds really professional. Top notch from what I can hear. The cymbals are panned kinda hard, but thats a personal opinion thing, its perfectly acceptable.

Well, the mix is a little "empty" on my computer speakers (in which one side is completely dead). However, I don't cater to the lowest common denominator when I mix and I wouldn't you do that either.

The mix is very "clean", "clear", and all that crap. You are very close to the mega goal. I've got a feeling your next recording is going to hit on the head.

I wouldn't mind hearing a 1dB boost with a high shelf on everything but the cymbals.

On guitars, I may pull out 1dB @ 300-400Hz.

Again, I'm only hearing one side until I get this mess worked out. (I can't decide what route I want to go with my mix bashing / computer stereo setup).

Great job. This mix is worth getting mastered.

Brandon
