new mix Rock band
Just a new mix i did. I am gonna raise the vocals a bit and take some of the high end off the guitar and mix in general but check it. I hope next time i mix the cd im done lol.
There are no rules in music...........

That's bloody good that! I wouldn't take any high end off actually. Yes the vocals in the chourus get a bit lost. If poss I'd get the band to re-take them a bit tighter. Do you think the lead vocal is a bit dry?

Yeah I had it reverbed and everyone though it was too wet lol

The guitars don't sound doubled? It sounds a lot heavier if they are. (Did the band not want to? It seems like that's always the reason, lol)
And yeah, the vocals do sound a tad dry but also kind of far away or something, they're not like direct or something, I can't really describe it.

The vocals remind me of the last verse in I'm so Lonely off the Beatles White Album.
