Hi bradzoot Mate dont mind this, I would like to hear the vox come in sooner 1min or so before it starts to me is a bit long, gtr well maybe less of it, and there was a few tuning issues, maybe add a piano in some of the grt parts just to add a tad more flavour and or play some lead on the acc gtr. Cheers redbak1 |

Actually thought about piano to replace the picked guitar but, you know how it is? I can't play it well myself and nailing people down to come and do it for you is hard sometimes. I think my mate has just got himself up and running with cubase so I could email the track and let him get it done. incidently, what did you think of the song? |

Thank you for your kind words. I will be adding some backing vox, never thought about the gospel angle tho. What a great idea. Man this forum is cool. by the way the lead guitar was played by my good friend Al James, Al and I have been involved in many bands over the last 20 or so yrs. I love his sound. By the way it was a Telecaster thru a Laney 50 tranny amp , not sure what effects he uses but i think it's just the basic compression, delay etc. Tho I'm sure he used his Morley wah on this one. Have a listen to my other track, see what you think of that. Neil |

Mate I dont mind the song at all, it reminds me alot of Keb Mo check him out you will see what I mean, if you dont mind me sayin with the vox maybe you could use a bit less xf just to let it come up the front more, because the your vocal is good and it is the main Instrument. Let me know what you think of Keb? redbak |

I am but a poor boy from Scotland and to be compared to the great Keb Mo is an honour indeed. Thank you. I am very much finding my way in the digital recording universe and appreciate your views. I have always been told that I have a bluesy soulful voice but I dont always take compliments easy. I have a long way to go but with the help and support of close friends and musicians and of course people i connect with on the great wide internet, I will get these tracks finished before I leave this earth. will keep you updated. Scotland? You serious? I'd have thought this was from some dirty old blues dude here in the USA ![]() Awsome song, especially the vocals. Man is that saweet. I agree about the intro, cut it in half. Do the soloing stuff later on. They'll stick around for it after the vocal gets them hooked. Only thing negative that I see is the drums could be a little more crisp. |

This is great. I'm with you on the Gospel comment. I was thinking the same thing. Someone needs to get freaky in the background and bust a lung during one of the jams. Voice is great. Guitars are too. Drums are the weak point from my point of view. I like the intro - maybe a bit too long though.
