Default My other band

...so I applied some of the techniques that have been suggested to me here on the music I was making with my other band, since we were creating something with an electronic vibe, but a metal foundation.

Since we've got "analogue" synths in the mix (an Access Virus), it's been a painstaking process - but it's beginning to take shape.

Engineering comments particularly wanted to help improve the ability of the synths and drums (especially the snare) to cut through better, and stuff we could try on the vocals (which are going to be completely re-recorded, as these are the prototype first takes).

Any other comments also welcome - although we're aware of some of the huge production holes in the mix, and the annoying ten seconds of silence at the start... Time was not on our side

Sounds pretty good to me

- I don't like the synth tone @ 2:50 it's a little cheaps sounding and at 3:30

- the bass is cutting through maybe a little too much at times and maybe a played a little sloppy at times, I'd hide it in the mix a bit more in places

- I like the vox they fit well with what you're doing

- This could be a good 3:00 song, I don't think we need 6:35 of it

- I actually didn't mind the snare sound for this song, it seems to kinda work, IMO
