Default Mastering ok?

Hi,

'Campus Faces' is my first album production, made in my home studio. It's also the first time, I seperated mixing and mastering processes. Time: 90%mixing and 10%mastering. The problem is, I couldn't imagine, that this also could be done by different persons, but after my new production experience I do! Next time, I will not master myself.

Anyway any comments are always welcome.
Enjoy and thanks in advance for listening.

Lots of real sounds of life in there. I can see why you might want someone else to master next time. I am sure that wasn't easy! I am not sure I like everything but as far the master, It is well done. Maybe if I were in school, I might be able to get into this more. I never really liked school much anyways. It all sounds like it belongs on the same album so yes, good job mastering.

It all sounds good. Where these mostly garageband sounds? Or something else?

For my own tastes, I probably could have used more of a pop element in there, but I can respect what you are doing.

Hi,
thank you for listening!

I'm pleased about youre comments about the sound!

I used garageband sounds, Supercollider, Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-880, Guitars prs, takamine, ebow, picked violine, my kitchens door, live samples from my campus, the song whisper collector has a real bass played by expanding_flan, many other stuff - detailed information are in the booklet (pdf file in the download zip)

Super job! Your mixes have that pro sheen that I would love to have on my mixes/recordings. Not really a fan of the music or approach...still I love what you've created. I feel you did a great job mastering yourself...why pay someone else.

Hi ChicoBlues,

Thanks, I'm really appreciated! The money point is a good reason to master myself.
