The mix is very nice. I'm not a big fan of the song though, but that doesn't matter. I'm confused though, are you in this band?
Latest song, band just finished today. They're called "Set On Site" a bunch of 15/16 year old's from around me. Check them out on myspace Set On Site on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Videos

No no I am not, I record local bands by me as a source of income while I'm doing college stuff. This is the latest band to come in.
Ahhh, that makes sense. I should have been able to figure that out, but... lack of sleep... yeah. :P
Well in that case, wow, I'll reiterate that it sounds very professional man. They should be happy with the outcomeThose drums sound good, what kind of drum mic setup do you use if you don't mind me asking?
I really like this song!
Great job!
Do you know how the guitars were tracked (amps, mics, guitars, etc)?
Because I really love the tone you achieved on this!
Great mix. Really 'there'!!
Love it.
Lots of real live energy......

Anywhos, again, great job, it sounds rad!
Top stuff! Nothing to make fun of... Love the "smack" you're getting on the drums.
thanks everyone! should have another one up in about a week!![]()
This is a nice lil pop nugget.Nice slick production.I think you are in touch with whats the flavor of the month.Hard to bash this one. This is some of the better stuff on here.Great ad for the Nt5...LOL Was this recorded in pro tools? Overall great job!
This sounds awesome! The singer has a very nice pop voice, I like it a lot
Very good sounding mix, the drums have an awesome punch to them that really drives the song. The only thing I would change is that the guitars seem to be a little strong on that "harsh" sounding range of the spectrum...I dunno if that makes any sense. Too much mids and buzz for my taste I guess.
However, I find myself accusing tons of songs of having guitars that sound too buzzy, maybe its just a problem with my own ears :P
Sounds fine asides from that though, definitely something I would expect to hear on a pop rock station!

Light years ahead of my band at 16. They have a great sound. The vocals seem a little thin to me. At some points they get lost in the music. But overall, wow i wish great things for the band too.
Great song, and very well produced!
I don't agree with the comment that the guitars sound "harsh". I'm a guitar player myself and thought the guitar sounded great - I think they sit well in the mix. Maybe my standards are low, but I also thought the vocals were nice too!
I cannot get this song out of my head.
I just want to congratulate you again.
This is so one of those Billboard hits that just get stuck!
I would totally record in your studio, because this sounds fantastic.![]()
indeed the mix sounds fantabulous. and yes i do agree les pauls would have made the guitar sound even much better.
good job tom!
Great mix and production for entry level gear.Kudos to you!
nice one!~ if i may suggest, the snare has nice "snap" but could use a bit of "crack" as well
